VWS Wins the 2009 Water Reuse Project of the Year Chevron San Ardo Facility
Produced Water Treatment System
Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies was awarded the prestigious Water Reuse Project of the Year for 2009 from Global Water Intelligence for the produced water treatment system design and installed at Chevron's San Ardo production facility.
The San Ardo facility utilizes our proprietary OPUS™ Technology to treat produced water generated from steamflood enhanced oil recovery for beneficial reuse.
OPUS Technology treats produced water using a multi-step process that includes de-oiling, clarification, softening steps, media filtration, and a double-pass RO system.
