VWS Oil & Gas Celebrates Load Out in Western Australia

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) Oil &Gas has recently celebrated the load out from the Megaron-Wasco fabrication yard in Batam, Indonesia, of the Effluent Biosep® Membrane BioReactor (EMBR), Tertiary Membrane Filtration (TMF) and Emergency Adsorption packages, part of the Effluent Treatment Plant for Woodside's Pluto LNG Project near Karratha, Western Australia.

The selected technologies are part of the complete treatment to reuse the waste water as demineralised water in the LNG plant. Several entities of the Veolia Environnement group collaborated on this project to provide the full water treatment process required under the supervision of Foster Wheeler Worley Parsons as the project's EPCM Contractor.

These three packages split into more than fifteen skids confirm our capability in terms of modular construction.

Thanks to the great professionalism of our team and selected contractors, the completion of these process packages was achieved with over 500,000 construction man-hours (for all packages) without any Lost Time Incidents, achieving VWS Oil & Gas and Foster Wheeler Worley Parsons' common objective towards Health & Safety.
